The Meander Braid is worked in SCOT (single-course oblique twining), one of the structures used to make traditional camel girths from India's Thar Desert. This is a shaped braid that I designed for my booklet Great SCOT! A Beginner's Guide to Ply-Split Braids in Single-Course Oblique Twining (self-published in 2000).
