Camel near the entrance gate to Ephesus, Turkey, with a ply-split halter

On September 24, 2003, John and I spent the day at Ephesus -- the best preserved classical city on the Mediterranean, and one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. As we were leaving, we saw this camel standing near the entrance with a sign that said "Photo $1.00". I noticed that the camel was wearing a ply-split halter, so I just had to ask John to take a picture, and was quite happy to pay the fee!
